The Mineral Resources Institute announces the opening of applications for PhD studies and research internships in the following specialities!

For PhD studies and research internships in the following fields:

04.00.02- “Geology, prospecting and exploration of solid mineral deposits. Metallogeny and geochemistry” (5 positions available).

04.00.03- “Geotectonics and geodynamics. Petrology and lithology” (1 position available);

04.00.05- “Paleontology and stratigraphy” (1 position available);

04.00.14- “Concentration of mineral deposits” (1 position available);

04.00.02- “Geology, prospecting and exploration of solid mineral deposits. Metallogeny and geochemistry” стажер-исследователь (1 position available).

Admission to PhD programs and research internships in the specified specialties is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 304 of May 22, 2017 and will last from September 15 to October 15 of the current year.

Documents are accepted electronically through a unified electronic system on the official website www.daraja.ilmiy.uz.

List of required documents:

1. Application to the director of the institute;

2. Brief biography (in form 3.5 in Uzbek and Russian);

3. Certified copy of the work book (for employed applicants);

4. Copy of the diploma (bachelor's, master's);

5. List of published scientific works and their copies (at least 1 article, 2 theses);

6. Copy of passport or ID card;

7. Certificate of proficiency in a foreign language at the national or international level not lower than B1 (not required for interns).
