Specialists of the laboratory of non-metallic raw materials processing technology of the State Institution " INSTITUTE OF MINERAL RESOURCES " of the University of Geological Sciences conducted technological studies on samples of graphite ores from the East Shaidaraz manifestation within the framework of project No.1491/2 "Study of non-traditional types of non-metallic mineral raw materials with the development of effective processing technologies." Based on the analysis of literary sources, as well as according to the results of studying the material composition, the use of gravity, flotation, pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical methods is recommended for the processing of graphite ores in the East Shaidaraz occurrence. When processing graphites according to the recommended scheme, a product with a graphite content of 90.5% was obtained. The resulting graphite concentrate complies with the requirements for the manufacture of paints, in foundry production, for the production of primary chemical power sources, for the production of electric carbon products and the manufacture of refractory products.
