Specialists of the non-metallic raw materials processing technology laboratory of the State Institution "Institute of Mineral Resources" of the University of Geological Sciences carried out technological studies on samples of rhyolites from the Urgutsay manifestation within the framework of project No. 1491/2 "Study of non-traditional types of non-metallic mineral raw materials with the development of effective processing technologies".

Based on the analysis of literary sources, as well as according to the results of studying the material composition, enrichment on a concentration table, magnetic separation of tailings of gravity enrichment and flotation enrichment of the non-magnetic fraction are recommended for the processing of rhyolites from the Urgutsay occurrence.

The resulting enriched product meets the requirements of "Feldspar and quartz-feldspar materials for fine ceramics" and "Feldspar for electrode coatings".
