Completed laboratory and technological studies of balance and off-balance ores of the YOSHLIK I and KALMAKYR deposits, carried out under the agreement between the State establishment “Institute of Mineral Resources” and “ENTER Engineering Pte. LTD.-Almalyk”. According to the second stage of research in the experimental processing plant of Almalyk MMC JSC, semi-industrial testing of ores from the YOSHLIK I and KALMAKYR deposits with a total weight of 1000 tons has begun with the participation of specialists from the State establishment “Institute of Mineral Resources” and foreign companies as “Эффективные технологии”, “Flotent chemicals”, “ BASF mining chemicals”, “Alliance Projects”, “Solvay” and “Nord Engineering”. The technological scheme developed as a result of semi-industrial tests will form the basis of the technology of the newly built 3rd copper processing plant.
