THE MAIN TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT

Collection, generalization of basic data on the results of geological exploration for solid minerals of enterprises of the State Committee Geology and Mineral Resources in the monitoring mode.

Analysis of the effectiveness of exploration in the context of the main mining regions of Uzbekistan, taking into account their metallogenic specialization:

- Compliance of the results of the work performed with the tasks and goals of this stage of exploration;

-Identification of promising objects and their transfer for the work of the next stage during the exploration cycle;

- Confirmation of predicted resources and reserves estimated by objects when transferring from low categories to higher ones and the state of increase in forward resources (reserves).

- Replenishment of the map-scheme of placement of deposits with industrial reserves, objects and promising areas with predicted resources of solid minerals of the Republic of Uzbekistan on a scale of 1: 500,000 based on GIS technologies.

Analysis of the economic efficiency of exploration in the context of the main mining areas:

- Analysis of changes in the structure of costs for mining areas: by types of ore minerals, exploration stages, main types of exploration work.

- The ratio of the value of identified industrial deposits to the total production costs for their search, evaluation and exploration, a general assessment of the effectiveness of geological exploration.

- Accounting and cataloging of objects of forecast resources of ore minerals of Uzbekistan.

- Prompt preparation and issuance of reference information on the profile of the sector at the request of higher and other organizations (Cabinet of Ministers, State Committee Geology and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Economy, etc.)

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CONDUCTED IN THE DEPARTMENT

- Systematization and analysis of geological and economic information on the predicted resources of ore minerals at objects (deposits, manifestations, prospective areas) of the Republic based on the results of geological exploration at various stages and out-of-stage thematic works of the forecast-metallogenic direction;

- Preparation of feasibility studies (feasibility studies) for mineral deposits in Uzbekistan, based on the use of innovative computer technologies.

RESEARCH RESULTS

- Approbation of author's materials on the assessment of predicted resources of the main types of minerals was carried out;

- Analysis of the effectiveness of exploration work of production enterprises of the State Committee Geology and Mineral Resources on the formation of a mineral resource base of ore minerals by stages of the exploration process in the context of mining regions and in general in the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- Systematized materials on the study of Bukantau, Tamdytau-Beltau, Kuldzhuktau, Nurata regions (regional, prospecting, appraisal and exploration stages) of noble, non-ferrous, rare and radioactive metals with an assessment of their resource potential;

- A feasibility study was prepared for the Amantaytau, Tamdybulak, Sarybatyr, Sarmich, Biran deposits, the Tuyachavul section of the Kyzylalmasai ore field, the Yuzhny-1 and Nizhnekenzhasai sections of the Kauldy deposit.
