Within the framework of project No. 1892-24, implemented jointly by the State Institution "Institute of Mineral Resources" and JSC "Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine," specialists from the Department of Geochemical Research are conducting extensive atmogeochemical research work at the Sardara site.

These studies are being carried out as part of the project "Comprehensive study of the geological-structural, mineralogical-geochemical, and tectonic features of gold and gold-silver deposit locations in the Sardara Basin based on cosmogeological, geophysical, geochemical, and other scientific approaches."

Field research work

- From July 14-20, 2025, field research work was successfully completed with the participation of department specialists Mukhammedov S.K., Smeyrek V.V., and Kholboev S.B.

- During the research, atmogeochemical points were recorded in the Sardara field, and promising positions were identified for the closed areas of the field.

- These positions are recommended for the next stage of geological exploration.

Purpose of the research:

The main goal of the project is to uncover hidden mining potential in the explored area, increase the efficiency of geological exploration, and develop the mining industry.

As a result:

The possibility of identifying new, promising mineral deposits increases;

The country's resource base expands;

A solid foundation is created for economic stability.
