In connection with December 9 – International Anti-Corruption Day, and within the framework of the ongoing “Anti-Corruption Month” (November–December 2025), an educational and awareness-raising event was held on November 11 among the departments of the Institute of Mineral Resources.
The event was opened by the Deputy Director, Mr. Sh.M. Akhmedov, who emphasized the importance of integrity, justice, and transparency in institutional and social life. In his address, he noted that corruption is not only a legal offense but also a serious obstacle to the country’s development, calling on all employees to act responsibly in combating it.
Following that, Mr. U.Sh. Raupov conducted a seminar titled “Commentary on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Combating Corruption.” The seminar covered the legal framework, the requirements of current legislation, and practical measures to prevent corruption-related offenses.
As part of the event, the institute’s working group organized a creative competition on anti-corruption awareness. Participants demonstrated their talents in several categories:
“Anti-Corruption Expert” — R. Karimov;
“Best Poem” — Sh. Turayev;
“Best Drawing” — D. Vakhidova;
“Best Article” — R. Uzoqov.
The winners were presented with valuable gifts by the institute’s administration.
This initiative aims to strengthen a culture of honesty and integrity, prevent corruption-related offenses, and promote civic responsibility in fostering a transparent and just society.
