Leading Compliance Control Specialist U. Raupov and Legal Counselor Sh. Odinayeva organized a seminar on the topic "Prevention of abuse of official position and criminal offenses - as elements of corrupt activity."

Participants were informed about the forms, types, causes, and factors of anti-corruption behavior. Concepts were presented regarding the components of crimes, the main methods and types of mineral resource theft in geology, and relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan applied to corruption offenses were reviewed.

Storage zones and procedures for mineral resources during production, measures to foster an intolerant attitude towards corruption among geologists, and risk assessment schemes for abuse of official position and embezzlement were discussed.

It was emphasized that inventory is the foundation for regulating the accounting and control of tangible assets. Participants were also given recommendations on the necessity of planning, providing instructions, and implementing measures, as well as increasing awareness about the risk of theft and methods for its prevention.
