A meeting was held with the participation of the head and responsible employees of the Institute on the fight against corruption, conflicts of interest, and possible negative situations.

The main attention at the meeting was paid to the resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to create an atmosphere of zero tolerance for corruption, a radical reduction in corruption factors in state and municipal government, expanding public participation" and "On additional measures to effectively organize the fight against corruption." The progress in fulfilling the tasks defined by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was discussed.

Corruption is a socially dangerous phenomenon in the sphere of politics and public administration, which is the illegal use of one's position and the opportunities associated with it to obtain material and other benefits and privileges by persons with the authority to perform public functions or equivalent to them, as well as the use of this wealth and privileges by individuals or legal entities, is to allow illegal possession.
