THE MAIN TASKS OF LABORATORY
- carrying out technological studies of ores of deposits and manifestations of precious, non-ferrous and ferrous metals at all stages of geological exploration;
- small-scale technological testing of various minerals;
- development of rational schemes for the enrichment of various minerals using gravity, flotation, magnetic and other enrichment methods;
- development of schemes and modes of pyrometallurgical processing of various types of ores (oxidizing, magnetizing, sulfating roasting);
- development of schemes and modes of hydrometallurgical processing of gold-bearing, gold-silver and other types of ores (sorption and direct cyanidation, leaching in solutions of various acids and alkalis, rational analysis for gold and silver);
- study of the possibility of using the method of heap leaching with cyanide for the processing of poor gold and gold-silver ores;
- study of selective reagents or surfactants prepared on the basis of local raw materials to replace traditional reagents used in industry, to improve the quality of enrichment and extraction of precious metals;
- development of methods for wastewater treatment from harmful impurities obtained during mineral processing and hydrometallurgical processing.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CARRIED OUT IN THE LABORATORY
Study of the benefication of gold-bearing ores of the Akba deposit;
Technological studies of gold-bearing ore at the Besapantau site;
Study of a small-volume technological sample of gold-bearing ore at the Jasaul site;
Investigation of the washability of two small-volume samples of gold-bearing ore at the Northern Daugyztau site;
Technological studies of gold-bearing ore at the Oltin Diyor site;
Research of the primary ore of the Yangi Davon deposit;
Technological studies of gold-bearing ore in the Mezhdurechye section of the Kyzylalma deposit;
Study of the beneficationof gold-bearing ores in the Tuyachavul area of the Kyzylalmasai ore field;
Technological studies of a sample of porphyry copper ores from the Miskan site of the Nizhnekauldinskaya area;
Research work to study the recovery of copper and gold from balance and off-balance ores of the Yoshlik I deposit;
Analysis of the benefication of samples of porphyry copper ores from the Yoshlik II deposit;
Study of the material composition and determination of the technological properties of the ores of the Khandiza and Chinarsai deposits, taking into account the possibility of increasing the extraction of valuable components;
Technological studies of gold-bearing ores at the facilities of the Angren Mining Administration;
Development of a technology for extracting valuable components from the tailings of the Marjanbulak gold recovery shop;
Development of a technology for the associated production of tungsten concentrate during the processing of gold-bearing ores at HMЗ-2;
Study of the forms of finding gold in carbonaceous ores, with the development of a technology for extracting gold associated with organic carbon;
Obtaining graphite concentrate from the ore of the Taskazgan deposit for its further use in electrical engineering, metallurgical and chemical industries.

RESULTS OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCHES
Over the past 5 years, the laboratory has conducted research in the framework of 4 state budget and 25 contract projects.
1. Within the framework of the project “Development of rational technologies for processing complex ores of deposits and manifestations of Uzbekistan”, technological studies of tungsten-containing ores of the Khodzhadyk deposit and tungsten-containing wastes of the tailing dump No. 1 of the Ingichka concentrator were carried out and recommended schemes were developed.
2. Within the framework of the project “Development of rational technologies for processing ores and dumps of developed deposits in Uzbekistan”, effective technological schemes for processing gold-bearing ores of deep horizons of the Muruntau, Gujumsay, Charmitan deposits, off-balance ores of the Kokpatas and Daugiztau mines have been developed.
3. Within the framework of the project “Studying the forms of finding useful components and developing a technological scheme for processing precious metal and polymetallic ores from deposits prepared for industrial development”, technological studies were carried out and optimal schemes for processing gold-bearing ores from the Tuyachavul and Kokpatas deposits were developed.
4. Within the framework of the project “Development of effective technological schemes for processing ore minerals of the Republic of Uzbekistan using modern technologies and analytical equipment”, studies are being carried out to conduct technological studies of gold-bearing ores at sites and manifestations of Cholcharatau, Lolazor, Kumbogut, Bayram and Karatagat.
5. On the basis of the agreement, over the past 5 years, technological research has been carried out to study the ores of the Akba, Besapantau, Jasaul, Northern Daugyztau, Taskazgan, Tashkan, Oltin Diyor, Yangidavon, Yuzhny-1, Tuyachavul, Miskan, Nizhnekenzhasai, Tebinbulak, Amantaytau, Kalmakyr deposits , Marjanbulak and other objects.
In addition, within the framework of the roadmaps for the development of geological science between SE “IMR” and the Almalyk and Navoi mining and metallurgical combines, studies were carried out on the objects of the Angren mine administration, polymetallic ores of the Khandiza and Chinarsai deposits, the production of associated tungsten concentrate from waste processing GMZ-2, stubborn carbonaceous gold-bearing ores of the Karakutan, Ajibugut, Umid and Amantaytau deposits and completed with positive results.
In addition, in 2022, an innovative project was successfully completed as part of the state program for scientific activities of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.As a result, a technology was developed for obtaining high-quality graphite concentrate with an ash content of 0.74% from graphite ores of the Taskazgan deposit.
